Spiritual Awakening – Chapter 1

the beginning

It’s the reason why You can’t look in the mirror.

Why You need that powder in Your nose.

Why the sweet nectar of alcohol numbs Your feelings each weekend.

Your pursuit of life has led You to false truths and understandings.

What You thought would fill You up, only creates more emptiness within Your being.

first

First, You must look at what You have become.

A vast hole of nothingness, who surrounds themselves with empty people and meaningless conversations.

second

Second, You must remove Yourself from this.

The pain of that separation will at first knock You out, and You will want to return to it.

It’s an addiction, it’s something You have become so accustomed to.

You will kick Yourself for it but You have to let go.

third

Third, loneliness comes, a master of which You already know. But have not taken the time to get to know, truly and deeply.

Now is Your time to learn from it.

fourth

Fourth, You will find some light in all of this darkness.

But it’s still a shallow light.

It’s deceitful “love and light” type.

fifth

Fifth, more meaninglessness.

Life seems to turn on You, nobody gets You.

You can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.

You wonder, is this all for nothing?

sixth

Sixth, You slowly start to crawl out of the darkness.

Although everyone still seems heartless.

The beauty of life has struck a chord in Your pores.

seventh – spiritual awakening

Seventh, You begin to see life as light and dark, although acceptance is hard.

Because the pain from seeing Your illusions is still lurking nearby.

But You cannot hide anymore, life needs to be lived.
